Our Life Together
Stafford, my tall, handsome stallion;
with his gleaming white coat and beautiful brown eyes; was more than just a prize-winning horse.
He was my companion, my confidant and a sensitive soul who understood me like no other.
Throughout his life, Stafford graced the show ring Winning countless prizes with elegance and poise. But it was in the quiet moments, just the two of us, where his true spirit shined the brightest.
Our bond was unbreakable, built on trust, love and endless affection.
Retirement
In his later years, as he retired from the spotlight, we spent our days on peaceful hacks, exploring fields and trails, galloping through the open countryside or enjoying gentle jumps in the paddock. His excitement for life never fading.
He loved his apples, his carrots, and the way his eyes lit up when he saw me approach, will forever be etched in my heart. His joy was contagious, his presence irreplaceable.
Though Stafford is no longer by my side, I know he’s somewhere beyond the Rainbow Bridge, cantering free across fields of green and one day, when the time is right, we’ll race together again on white sand beaches. With the wind in our hair and our souls forever entwined.
Stafford, you will always be my heart’s champion.
